Maquillage Decoupage

Bon soir mon amies,

Life is the muse.

So, as the first post of this maquillage assemblage, I wanted to take a philosophical moment to say we, as human beings, are meant to create things. Whether it's a piece of music or giving birth or tying thousand knots in one cubic centimeter for a wool rug or drawing out a wind resistant building -- to manifest our energy into the physical realm is our calling. So my muse boozed mates, here's a piece of my energy to contribute to that infinitely expanded stream of creativity: painted faces. Distorted, glitterfied, glamorfied, horrified, money makers. No two faces are alike, that's why they're my favorite canvas.

Cheers,

DAZ

Below: photos from the Free Jambalaya Productions show, The Intricacies. A blues opera about the trials and tribulations of l.o.v.e. So, naturally, the look was a mix of silent-film-era-darkness with a sprinkle of Tim Burton-esque paleness.
